Kjo vil\u00eb ishte nj\u00eb dhurat\u00eb personale p\u00ebr Mbretin Zog I, nga komuniteti i biznesit t\u00eb Durr\u00ebsit n\u00eb shenj\u00eb respekti dhe nderimi. Kristo Sotiri, arkitekti i diplomuar n\u00eb Universitetin e Padov\u00ebs n\u00eb Itali, projektoi faz\u00ebn e par\u00eb t\u00eb vil\u00ebs, nd\u00ebrsa zbatimi i projektit u ndoq m\u00eb pas nga arkitekti italian q\u00eb mban firm\u00ebn edhe t\u00eb nj\u00eb seri nd\u00ebrtesash t\u00eb tjera n\u00eb Tiran\u00eb, Florestano di Fausto. Teknologjia e nd\u00ebrtimit dhe stili arkitektonit ishte i t\u00ebri i ndikuar nga stili Italian, megjith\u00ebse godina ka ruajtur element\u00ebt identifikues shqiptar\u00eb sikurse forma e shqiponj\u00ebs q\u00eb nd\u00ebrtesa duket se e ka kur shihet nga lart. Kolonat dhe trar\u00ebt, p\u00ebrfshi dhe dyshemet\u00eb prej betoni t\u00eb p\u00ebrforcuar p\u00ebrfaq\u00ebsonin dhe z\u00ebrin m\u00eb t\u00eb madh t\u00eb shpenzimeve, nd\u00ebrkoh\u00eb q\u00eb fasada e thjesht\u00ebzuar dhe e standartizuar solli nj\u00eb reduktim t\u00eb kostos. Por, edhe pse n\u00eb at\u00eb vil\u00eb ka kaluar historia pothuaj 100-vje\u00e7are e Shqip\u00ebris\u00eb, sot brenda atij ambienti pak gj\u00ebra kan\u00eb mbetur nga e shkuara. N\u00eb vitin 1928, kjo vil\u00eb mori emrin \u201cVila mbret\u00ebrore\u201d p\u00ebr arsye se Zogu shpalli monarkin\u00eb dhe u vetshpall mbret. Vila gjat\u00eb sistemit komunist \u00ebsht\u00eb ruajtur, por u d\u00ebmtua gjat\u00eb trazirave t\u00eb vitit 1997, nd\u00ebrsa pas vitit t\u00eb mbrapsht\u00eb iu n\u00ebnshtrua nj\u00eb restaurimi. N\u00eb 1940 Giusepe Martino, nj\u00eb milioner italian e konsideronte vil\u00ebn, si pallatin veror me t\u00eb bukur n\u00eb Ballkan.
